prettyPhoto 3.0 feature requests.

December 22nd 2009

With the recent release of prettyPhoto 2.5.5, I want to start planning the 3.0 release. I already have some stuff I want to implement and I’d like to get the community input to make sure everyone is happy. Here’s what planned so far:

1) Ability to initialize multiple prettyPhoto with different settings.
2) When opening a gallery, have the gallery opened inside prettyPhoto so the user can quickly navigate through items.
3) Slideshow!

Let me know what you’d like!

As for the estimated ETA…when it’ll be done.

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was
extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any helpful hints for newbie blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

I’ve tried to enter the forum to ask a question, but I’m not getting my conformation sent to me via email to confirm my account, so I’ll try here to get an answer.

Is there a way to embed a comments section next to each photo/video for users to comment? My site already has comments from users installed but I want to add them to this pretty photo script. Is this possible?

    Thank you,

Since all photos are called foma database, I’d like to be able to put some more configurable data added to the picture url… Maybe a link at the bottom of the white box, or a banner image url with the url I want it to point to … Well I,m sure you get the idea. Txs :)
