prettyPhoto documentation

Below you can find the complete documentation for prettyPhoto.

If you are having problems with prettyPhoto and need support, please come and ask your questions in our forums.

If you got here by mistake, don’t leave! The main prettyPhoto page can be found here.

If you we’re not looking for prettySociable, well too bad, but you can still read my blog here.

Script needed

First include the jQuery library, prettyPhoto javascript and the prettyPhoto CSS in the head of the page(s) where you want to use prettyPhoto.

<script src="js/jquery.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/prettyPhoto.css" type="text/css" media="screen" charset="utf-8" />
<script src="js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>

Then, initialize prettyPhoto. Put the following code before the closing tag of your body ()

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">

And…you’re set!

Just add rel=”prettyPhoto” to the link you want prettyPhoto to be enabled on. Refer to the demos on the main project page for all the possibilities.
